You've asked for it, so we're trying it. Each Saturday, Linda will host a 2 hour help session where you can bring in your current project and ask for tips and advice, chat with friends, and learn some insider tricks along the way as Linda helps everyone in the class. This is NOT the place to learn the very basics of crochet (there's a class for that), and also not a substitute for a private lesson (if you need her full attention for an entire hour, please schedule a private lesson). It is a set time where you can get your crochet fix away from the distractions of home, and a time where Linda can help you fix your crochet, plus answer all of the questions that come up as you are working. She can also help you find new projects to inspire you.
Prerequisites: Learn to Crochet, or equivalent familiarity with basic crochet stitches.
Cost: $15 per 2 hour session, meets Saturdays from 12-2 PM.
Each Saturday session is limited to 6 students max, please sign up in advance to guarantee a space. Drop-ins are welcome as long as there are spaces left in the class. For weeks where only one person attends, the class will turn into a 1-hour private lesson instead of a 2-hour session.

Add a little crochet to your flip flops for an easy wardrobe renewal, just in time for Summer! You'll need to bring your own flip flops (see materials for buying suggestions) in order to participate. These make great gifts and are a fun way to use up scraps, they work great with novelty yarns, or choose from our random pile of scraps. Bring buttons or beads if you'd like to add them, too!
Prerequisites: None! The technique is pretty simple, so even novice crocheters are welcome!
One 2-hour session, class meets one Saturday, July 17, from 3-5 pm. Cost is $15 plus materials.
MATERIALS: Students must bring their own pair of flip flops to embellish. Standard flip flops are best (they can be had cheaply at Old Navy, Target, Michael's and the like). It only takes a little yarn, so splurge, or bring some yarn from your stash if you have something already in mind. You're also welcome to pick from our basket of scraps.
You'll also need a crochet hook (if unsure, Linda will help you pick, size 4.0 mm to 5.0 mm will generally work), yarn needle and any buttons/beads you want to use.
