Learn how to make this special lace using a large knitting needle in place of a broomstick (stop by the shop to see the sample below!). You can use this technique to make scarves and shawls, hats and even sweaters. Linda will get you started on your first broomstick lace scarf!

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with chain and double crochet stitches (if you used to crochet and need a refresher, you'll probably be fine in this class).
Supplies: 3-400 yards Worsted weight yarn (Louisa Harding "Grace" would be lovely!), size G (4.0) or H (5.0) mm crochet hook (or a range of hook sizes, if you have them), Size 19 straight knitting needle.
