Yarnivore

Yarnivore is a yarn and fiber shop on the Northwest side of San Antonio, TX. We have a wide selection of yarns and fiber, including several San Antonio friendly yarns such as bamboo, soy, and cotton blends. We also offer a variety of books, patterns, tools and classes to help spark your creativity and unleash the yarnivore in you. Our employees are well versed in knitting, crochet, and spinning and are available to answer your questions and help you through your projects. Our couches are just waiting for you to sit-n-knit, crochet, or spin! We also have many of our yarns available for you to play with before your buy. We even have magazines for bored significant others and a few toys for the kids!

You think you have it bad... at least you don't have push pins in your butt! After knitting this lovely sleeveless shell, "Bonita" from Rowan Magazine 41, out of Nashua's Grand Opera, Melanie thought it would be a good idea to block her garment on me. Frankly I'm a little insulted, but I guess that's the price I have to pay to wear the awesome hand-knit things I get to wear. Perhaps I should have been a little less sassy. Oh who am I kidding!

Who is Sheila?

Sheila is our sassy store mannequin. She likes to talk about her outfits, give advice, and give the rest of us a hard time. Sometimes she's a bit of a smart-aleck and probably deserves a good smack. Unfortunately she has no head so we just put up with it!
